School Updates July 2021

Asociacion Esperanza De Vida - Hope of Life School, Alotenango, Guatemala.
Despite the continued rise in July 2021 of covid infections the school is run with safety guidelines..
There is currently 4,600 new cases as I write this in August in Guatemala which has a population of over 24,000 people in the town of Alotenango.
Trinity Methodist Church here in Westfield & Radstock is one of a few helpers to assist in the continuing support as well as other individuals and countries who help with monies to support teachers and providing free lunches and equipment. We have been helping by collecting in Jam Jars the change we acquire but as this has become harder through lack of access to change and people using cards, then we kindly ask for people to donate via the Latin Link sight.
Two teams have been to the school of Pastor Juan from Great Britain since 2015 via the organisation Latin Link based in Reading which enables any age who have a heart for these people to visit and assist. Visit the link below to help or find out how you can go to the country or get to help not matter how small.

This is a town which lives under the constant threat of Volcan Fuego enrupting again as it did in 2018 killing approx 200 people and covering homes with ash. The resilience of the people and care of Pastor Juan's Church, family and school teaching team have enabled life to continue helping the less fortunate to continue with their education.

Have a look at the Latin Link sight and see how you can be apart of God's work and mission!
